DESCRIPTION:The Ridgely Lions are busy getting ready for the 2016 Strawberry Festival which will be held on Sunday May 29th. We have many vendors returning and some news ones too!  For more info about the Strawberry Festival\, visit the Ridgely Lions Club Facebook page or email to ridgelylions@verizon.net .\n\nWe have also had a tremendous number of runners and walkers interested in signing up for the 6th Annual Strawberry Chase 5K Fun Run and Walk. Ethan is a former resident at the Ronald McDonald House in Baltimore and Ethan's mother Jennifer says "the RMH is a great place that holds a special place in the hearts of anyone who has ever utilized their services".   The Strawberry Chase is a part of the Ridgely Lions Club's 37th Annual Strawberry Festival and will be run at Martin Sutton Memorial Park in Ridgely MD on Sunday May 29th.   All proceeds from the race benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities and the Caroline County Super Summer Day Camp.  Race will begin at 9am on 4th Street at Martin Sutton Park.\n\n \n\nOn-site registration will be open on the day of the race at 7:30 am.  Early Registration thru May 25 is $20/person .   Late Registration after May 25 is $25/person.  Kids age 12 yrs and younger can register for $10.  You can also register as a Sleepwalker and contribute from the comfort of your own bed for $25/person.   Prizes will be awarded to the Overall and Master's women and men's champions and to the top three male and female finishers in nine (9) age groups.  Prizes will also be awarded to three participants who wear the most patriotic costume in red\, white and blue.\n\n Participants can register on-line at www.carolinerecreation.org .  You can also download a race registration form at www.e-clubhouse.org/sites/ridgely or on www.facebook/ridgelylionsclub  and mail it with your payment to the Caroline County Recreation and Parks at 107 South 4th Street\, Denton MD 21629.
