DESCRIPTION:It's a tradition to gather at the steps of the County Courthouse to discover\n\nthe magic words that will light the trees signaling the beginning of the\n\nholiday season.  Join us Thursday\, December 5 at 7 p.m. for the Lighting of\n\nthe Green and enjoy performances by local choirs and music groups adding to\n\nthe celebration.  This event follows the Annual Christmas Parade at 6 p.m.\n\nin downtown Denton including custom floats\, marching bands\, fire trucks and\n\nqueens.  For parade entry information call the Town of Denton at 479-2050.
