I'm Mark A. Carels, Founder and Creative Director of Marquee Events, LLC, professionally known as DJ Marcus Ashley. Since 1986, I've built a 40-year career in entertainment spanning radio broadcasting, nightclubs, weddings, corporate events, community celebrations, and concert productions alongside nationally recognized recording artists.

A lifelong Eastern Shore resident and entrepreneur, I pride myself on professionalism, creativity, versatility, and an extensive knowledge of music. I believe exceptional entertainment goes beyond playing songs—it's about connecting with people, creating energy, and delivering memorable experiences.
